Are you ready for something different?

IFS for Eating Disorder Recovery: Interactive Workbook

Is it possible to love your eating disorder back to health? We think so. In fact, many have experienced full recovery (and beyond!) from their eating disorders utilizing the revolutionary IFS model.

IFS teaches us to drop limiting, shame-based diagnoses, and view our symptoms as our body’s healthy attempts to communicate. IFS teaches us that healing occurs through external and internal relational safety, and has little to do with learning a list of therapy tools. If you’ve never benefited from diagnoses or traditional cognitive-based treatments, IFS is for you.

This IFS for Eating Disorder Recovery workbook offers 9 sections of educational, experiential and directive lessons that will shift your body and mind towards healing – finally! The lessons will give you a basic understanding of the IFS model and how it can be applied to your eating disorder recovery, steps to befriending your eating disorder “parts” through guided experientials, and ongoing engagement in your healing process through regular quizzes, open prompts and actionable steps. This workbook is great for anyone who struggles with wavering commitment and feelings of hopelessness in their recovery.

This workbook is for individuals who are mostly nutritionally and medically restored. Due to the independent and self-paced format of the workbook, we require you to read our ‘Workbook Disclaimer’, ‘Informed Consent’ and obtain consent from your doctor, psychotherapist or other member of your treatment team in order to begin. For the best outcome, utilize the workbook in combination with regular IFS therapy.
